Katarzyna Golen, Karina Marusinska, Agnieszka Rzezniak, Natalia Rzezniak-Pospieszalska
The group was active between 2005 and 2015. It produced performances and artistic interventions, focusing on issues of gender and the social order of norms. It was interested in phenomena occurring at the intersection of the private and public spheres. Through actions maintained within a poetics of innocence and carefreeness, the artists posed profound questions – about memory, intimacy, a sense of security and threat, and various forms of responsibility, control and violence. In their shows, the performers usually remained passive, but through their demeanour they invited the audience (sometimes a random one) to interact. The group’s activities took place mainly in public spaces, most often during Polish and international arts festivals and within cultural institutions.
