Object I, II, III, IV

By placing any object in a gallery display case, we achieve a ‘museumification’ effect, increase its value and elevate its status. We decided to see what would happen if we locked ourselves inside such transparent cases and put ourselves on display in the urban space. Our plexiglas ‘cages’ were mobile; viewers could move them around and arrange them in various configurations. We were close, yet behind glass, becoming objects from which it was both easy and difficult to maintain a distance.
