Because one must go to sleep feeling very pure
We ‘dressed’ the barren ground, situated near the lignite mine, in white sheets. We lay down on it, falling asleep surrounded by the hum of machinery. The soil was our companion and confidante. We lay there in contemplation, finding solace in our closeness to it, as well as in each other’s presence. The title of the performance was borrowed from Tymoteusz Karpowicz’s poem ‘Dream’.
