Echoes (2026—)
‘Echoes’ are reactions, stretched out over time, to past experiences whose source ceased long ago. It is a listening for the echoes of shared languages and the echo of one’s own heart. In the thicket of collective languages, I try to find my own. I explore possibilities; I rediscover the world. There are fossils here and living languages – warm, pulsating, sticky. I run my fingers over their tips, to which words have clung. I set them free. They can crawl around. I separate the messages of my ancestors from the beliefs arising from my personal experiences. I am learning to recognise those that feed me.
Fragments of the World (2017-2023)
The series of twelve works, ‘Fragments of the World’, was produced in collaboration with museums, mainly in Wrocław. In it, I explore the connections between the past, the present and the future. I focus on themes that escape the attention of history and the public eye. I am fascinated by remnants, fragments, scraps, cuttings, shreds, reverses, and splinters of everyday life. Through them, I explore the complexity of the world and human nature. ‘Fragments of the World’ interject themselves into its affairs and are an expression of support for certain values.
