Ocean

A table is inextricably linked to domestic rituals and the relationships between household members. By moving it out into the ocean and having less and less control over it, we were risking our own health, and perhaps even our lives. We were also putting each other in danger. The desire for thrills, to prove ourselves, to save ‘something’ at any cost was stronger than the need for safety and peace of mind.
