Silence
The installation refers to the mineral collection of the Joanneum – Museum of Natural History in Graz (Austria), near which it was first exhibited.
In the face of numerous protests around the world and their various manifestations, questions arise about the effectiveness, as well as the ethics, of forms of civic (non-)engagement. We are confronted with a whole spectrum of attitudes – from throwing stones to meaningful silence. Is silence really golden?
